Death Exhausted

by Sons Of Luther

/

about

"Death Exhausted" is the final installment of our "False Memory Sessions" featuring songs that would fit perfectly on any 90s alt-rock playlist.

The song title comes from the idea of outrunning death until he gives up exhausted, and lets you live forever.

Partly inspired by the passing of Foo Fighter's Taylor Hawkins, this song is intended to make you feel alive and ready to challenge death once more with no regrets…

lyrics

Not even happy on the weekends
Then back to working where you work too hard
We gotta find a better reason
Why it is we only got so far
Let's start with the system
We've grown accustomed to
We grin and bear it
Just to make it through
And all we want
Is everything
To call the shots
To pull the strings

Why is it so hard to say whats on our minds
We found the words but still can't seem to find
How not to have regrets when we die

Live fast take chances
Nothing's gonna slow you down
So damn romantic
Your feet don't ever touch the ground
Feels like flying
Are you falling

Why is it so hard to say whats on our minds
We found the words but still can't seem to find
How not to have regrets when we die

When we die
When we die
When we die

Why is it so hard to say whats on our minds
We found the words but still can't seem to find
How not to have regrets when we die
